Helmet Diving: Scuba-style experience to a depth of 3m without getting your head wet! Suitable for the non-swimmer.
Guided Snorkel Tours: approx. 30 minutes. Perfect for the beginner snorkeler. Join the Marine Naturalist in small groups and learn more about the reef. Explore sheltered coral lagoon with expert snorkelling assistance and instruction available at all times.
Adventure Snorkel Safari: approx. 50 minutes. Suitable for snorkelers who are comfortable in the water, you have the opportunity to explore even further utilising a dedicated snorkel boat. Introductory Diving: No experience necessary. All equipment provided.

All diving is subject to successful completion of an on-board medical questionnaire. Certain medical conditions (ie: asthma) and some
medications may exclude individuals from diving. The minimum legal age for diving is 12 years. All divers under 18 years of age must have
parent/guardian consent. Certified Divers must produce Certification Card. Please note, it is recommended to leave at least 12-24 hours
between diving & flying with the time period dependant on depth, duration and number of dives.

Great day out
Great day out for swimmers and non-swimmers however the underneath part of the pontoon the windows need cleaned. The glass bottom boat was fabulous, the submarine was a little bit too hot.
Loved the adventure snorkel - it was amazing, I swam with a shark and we swam from the outer reef to the pontoon.
The food was amazing and substantial. I would definitely go back.

Best experience ever
Myself and my husband took the tour to tge barrier reef with Reef Magic this was the best experience ever, we snorkled and saw some large fish also beautiful small fish swimming in and out of the coral, you are so close to the fish you can almost touch them as they swim right in front of you, we had a helicopter ride over the barrier reef too, the staff are amaizing the journey back to the jetty was how shall i say it a little bumping as we hit a storm the crew came around to help the many travellers being unwell they even made the journey back fun with their jokes and songs, we loved every minute of this tour and again its a must when visiting Cairns.... already looking at booking in August for our 30th wedding anniversary..... love Cairns and all it has to offer

A MUST DO!!
We had a fantastic full day out on the Great Barrier Reef.A MUST DO for young & old they cater for anyone to the none confident & the very confident.The service from all staff was EXCELLLENT & the food was great, the boat ride was simply stunning but make sure you try & sit up top and right up the back (AWESOME).
The under water photos that were taken were great & my segestion is get them on a USB. All & all we had the best day & thank you we will be back 10/10 :)

I am not comfortable in or on the water but I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. I did the beginners snorkel and the tutor Eric was very good indeed. I loved it , the rest of my family did the adventure snorkel and they had an amazing time smiles all round. would highly recommend this trip . The Reef Trip was by far the highlight of our holiday in Cairns...Not only seeing the Great Barrier Reef, but having a crew that is so helpful and fun and amazing with kids. The boat trip across and back was incredible,we had dolphins jumping so close to the boat, and then to see so much activity at the reef was mind blowing...To add to this, ALL the crew on board was so entertaining and interactive. This is what makes a great holiday experience...WE will be back without a doubt...WE LOVE WALLY!!!

Non swimmers were able to view the reef
We had a great day at Moore Reef. The trip was well organised, lunch was nice and plentiful and there was tea and coffee available on the boat for most of the day. Non swimmers were able to view the reef from the semi submersible and the glass bottom boat and there was plenty of opportunity for snorkelling and diving for those who wanted to as we spent 5 hours at the pontoon. The trip out to the Reef took 90 minutes and was a bit bumpy at times but motion sickness pills were available.

Highlight of our holiday
This trip was the highlight of our holiday to Australia - being a qualified diver allowed me to take part in two dives on the Reef. My elderly mother went for a ride in the semi-submersible craft so she could see the underwater world as I do - she had lots of assistance from the staff whenever required. A fantastic day!

We just went with the basic snorkeling and it was amazing.
We loved our day on reef magic, the only thing that was a little dissointing is that there were fees involoved with most of the extra activities they offerred. We just went with the basic snorkeling and it was amazing. So many fish and even a sea turtle swam by us. The platform was nice to relax on in between snorkeling.

Very good day out for the family
Very good day out for the family. Five hours may sound like a long time on the pontoon (especially when you have little ones) but there are many activities to pass the time, even for non-swimmers. Not too pram friendly as you board on upper level and disembark on lower level, but staff are more than willing to assist. Make sure you take sea-sickness medicine!

there should be more warnings on the website about the strong possibility of sea sickness on the website so that we ciuld have taken the tablets earlier! however staff were fantastic at dealing with everyone who was ill and the scuba tours were good.

But even better snorkling, once I got the nerve to do it. - just could have done with a bit of advice - how to do it, and some kind of help getting out as I couldnt get my flippers off with the waves crashing, and having knee and back problems.

The glass bottom boat was not as good as we thought (water was a bit cloudy and the coral was not as colour full) but getting into the snorkling gear and going swimming was an experience we will not forget.
we also did the helmet dive which again was unforgetable.

An enjoyable trip to the reef. Granddaughter loved it, as she was out snorkling a lot of the time. Meals adequate, but some organisational issues - lining up for ages waiting to sign back on board. there were several sheets of names which could have been manned by different staff, but one person had all of them, so each person had to wait to be signed in individually. Overall a great experiennce.

Really great value for money.
This was the first time that we tried snorkelling and we were not strong swimmers. However, our snorkelling tour guide was simply terrific and re-assuring. She helped us to overcome our fear and we ended up enjoying ourselves very much that we want to return to the Great Barrier Reef again. Really great value for money.

Will be going back again to the barrier reef with Reef Magic. My family had a fantastic time with Mick and Breadon Scuba diving on the reef for the first time. Loved it! The snorkeling was amazing too, spent about 3 hours in the water watching the resident fish Wally and other beautiful fish. For anyone who is going to Cairns it is a number one thing to do. we felt safe at all times
It was generally a good day. Again the weather somewhat spoilt the day. We were travellin with young children so I would have liked somewhere on the pontoon which was away from the wind. The staff were excellent and I would recommend the trip to anyone travelling with young kids. Safety was a priority so we felt safe at all times.

Absolutely amazing!
Absolutely amazing! I originally was trying to find a half day since we had a 3 year old and a 10 month old, but the time flew. My husband and I rotated turns diving/ snorkeling. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. My only suggestion make sure you plan your time for everything because the day passes quickly, we missed out on the submersible which would be the only downfall for the day. Great staff, great food (including vegetarian) great day!

We all love the submarine
It was a very windy day, sea was rough but we enjoyed it! Many on board have \\\"threw out\\\" but the crew have taken good care of the passengers on board. The reef was truly magical. We all love the submarine, the snorkel, the helicopter ride and of course the fish feeding! However, the lunch we thought could be better. Overall, an A for the team!

The marine biologist Amy was just so friendly and knowledgeable. The introductory snorkelling tour was so educational and informative. As the sea can be rough, it would be good if they can warn passengers to consume sea sick pills much earlier so that the pills can take effect.

icecream avail was a treat

I know why they call it the Reef Magic tour because it was sooo magical, my family and i have never seen such natural beauty. a must for anyone
Snorkelling in the reef was fantastic. The underwater photographer got a great picture of me and the huge fish named Sarah. We also did the 10 minute helicopter flight and it was amazing! I consider a helicopter ride a must for anyone visiting the reef.

We love helping people plan their holidays and we want to make sure we get it right.

It takes a little bit longer to get your tickets but we want to make sure everything is going to run smoothly for you.
How long wil it take to get my tickets?
Our team are alerted to new booking requests as they come in. During office hours you can expect to have your tickets within an hour or two.
After office hours your tickets may take up to 12 hours to arrive.
